Tomorrow's Yesterday Chapter 2 cover scifi anthology books and comics

From many perspectives, there is a period of history missing between the Last Days of Old Earth and the fully colonized universe. It was not a brief process, but it was monotonous.

Generations were postponed as humanities seedlings traveled in stasis. Those who worked through the Great Expansion, have subtly important tales to tell.

Before Instant Communication was commonplace, colonies were isolated by massive time lag. Containment builds pressure, and socio-economic political melodrama ensues.

When the Werbian Machines announced their sentience, there was a long period of cooperation. When they decided to turn on us, resistance was futile. That doesn't mean we didn't die trying.

Under the Shadow of the Plateau

Despite being the first book in the Frontier Forever series, Under the Shadow of the Plateau is chronologically after the comics. This work of science fiction tells the tale of the second Athena-class Marshal and her AI sidekick as they investigate the disappearance of their predecessor.

Full of western motifs like manifest destiny and evil tycoons; juxtaposed with wild animal hybrids and dilapidated mech warriors; exploring neurodiversity and the future of capitalism; this detective story will force you ask as many questions as it answers.

There is no ideal read order, but UtSotP is a great place to start for those who like mystery and big payoffs. Regenesis has a few major reveals, but they aren’t spoilers, they just give you a different perspective on the conspiracy. Tomorrow’s Yesterday explains the deep backstory of how humanity got to this point, and beyond. If you want to understand everything, you’ll have to explore the secrets of this website too.
