To be clear, I didn't have anything to do with writing this book. They asked me some questions before showing it to me, and supposedly they made some minor edits, but like everyone else I've talked to who was involved, I think it's a pretty accurate portrayal. There are definitely simulation driven differences, and matters of perspective, but honestly seeing how the external perspectives makes my memories of those times feel all the more real.

Anyway, I'd be glad to answer any questions you have, but the ones I get most often are all about warehouse 402, so here we go: I had used the Buena Vista arcade weather subscription to hack into the EPA, and was routinely stealing info to keep myself hidden over the next couple of months when I saw a suspicious package in transit and I grabbed it. Didn't realize what a huge fish I had until after the fact, but all the signs were there, and it turns out that the Matron, with full approval of the board somehow... was testing these field disruptors that let her activate the first Werbian creature. Even though the firewall was up at the time, she created a little bubble where it wasn't, and if I hadn't been using those files at the time I would've gone under the radar, because later we confirmed that she didn't know it was me who dun did it, but as it was, I was the most attractive and proximate target when the Matron ordered her test.

I have to say, I'm not a huge fan of Old Earth sims usually, I'm very progress oriented and the whole time in a bottle thing just doesn't work for me conceptually, but I've really enjoyed meeting you. You are living in a very unique time, with a fabulous mixture of true and untrue bits of history, and it's not that I envy your fate, but I do see the beauty in it. If there's anything else I can do to make your existence more pleasurable, please don't hesitate to ask.

I, too, am a Frontier Forever officer residing on USiNet. I received Studebaker Hawk when he first ejected himself from the true Earth, and have been working with the California Sunrise gang ever since.

I've seen similar posts complaining about access issues, so if you see this thread please reply to say so. I've replied to already, and I'm still going, so hopefully everything will sync up soon.

It's pretty difficult just to sign up honestly:

1. Go to the FF removed link " target="_blank" rel="noopener">Discord

2. Do their onboarding

3. Go to the Earthside channel

4. Type /Earthside

Then trying to survive is even worse. Reply here if you get it, we can trade animals, or lmk if you need help
